What is TrajectoryAI?
TrajectoryAI helps you monitor companies in real time. Instead of manually tracking news, funding, hiring changes, or competitive activity, TrajectoryAI automatically surfaces meaningful signals, so your team can act faster and with more context. Think of it as your competitive and account intelligence radar that is always on.
See how TrajectoryAI works in this quick demo video.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Your company email
- A few companies you care about (competitors, key accounts, prospects)
Getting started

- Go to the TrajectoryAI app and log in with your email.
- You’ll land on your dashboard.
Setting up workspace
Here’s what you’ll see first:
- A space to add companies
- List of your added companies
- Recent reports (if any)
Pro tip: If this is your first time, it might look quiet, and that’s normal.
Adding companies
To start getting signals, please add:
- Company name
- Company website
- Company LinkedIn profile link (optional)
- Monitoring category (Client-Prospect-Competitor-Partner-Other)
You can add:
- Competitors
- Accounts you sell to

Email and subscriptions
You can customize the following in your account settings:

TrajectoryAI overview
Adding a company
To track a company, you need:
- Campaign name
- Company website (most important input)
- Linkedin Profile (optional)
- Company category
The domain ensures we track the correct entity, especially for companies with multiple regional websites (e.g., wolt.pl vs. wolt.de). You can add or delete campaigns anytime.
Company Overview tab
The Company Overview tab pulls together key business information so you don’t have to look for it across multiple sources.
Once you open the Overview for any company, you’ll typically find:
- Company name and logo
- Industry and location
- Brief description (if available)
- Headcount and growth trends
- Grow Score and Hit Score as quick performance indicators
- Latest signals and highlights
In short, this page gives you a snapshot of the company’s current situation.
Here’s how a company profile appears once it’s been added:
Adding an employee
Adding LinkedIn
LinkedIn provides:
- Total employee count
- Headcount growth
- Team distribution
- Management data
If you don’t add it, we’ll try to find it, but adding it yourself improves accuracy and speeds up analysis.
Adding social links
Social profiles improve tracking accuracy as many companies share similar names. Providing verified links ensures we monitor the right accounts and avoid mismatches.
Company tracking overview
Once added, we begin tracking immediately. While the information isn’t visible right away, you’ll start receiving the first results within about an hour. You’ll see two types of information:
News (Daily flow)
- Website updates
- LinkedIn posts
- Articles
- Social media channels
News appears continuously and always includes a source.
Reports (Weekly analysis)
Once a week, our AI analyzes all changes from the past 7 days to detect patterns or shifts.
Think of:
- News = what happened
- Reports = what changed and why it matters
Initial company data (overview, headcount) appears within 1 hour.
News items source
Each news item includes its original source so you can verify context and credibility yourself. Insights may or may not include direct links: it depends on whether they’re tied to a specific event or broader pattern analysis.
News feed
The feed functions like LinkedIn:
- Scroll through updates
- Filter by company or category by importance
- Save important items
All tracked companies appear in one place.
Email preferences
You can control:
- Which campaigns send updates
- What types of updates you receive
You can update your email preferences in your account settings.

Data collection schedule
We collect and refresh company data every Saturday, when activity is typically lower, ensuring clean weekly analysis.
Discovering tabs
Hit Score/Grow Score
TrajectoryAI uses two simple performance indicators based on Crunchbase data:
- Hit Score. Measures market attention
(Media mentions, announcements, buzz) - Grow Score. Measures real company growth
(Hiring, expansion, scaling activity)
These scores help you quickly filter companies:
- High Hit + Low Grow → Buzz without scaling
- High Hit + High Grow → Strong momentum
They’re designed as a fast decision-making shortcut, a way to quickly separate momentum from noise without digging through dozens of data points.
Total employee count
Pulled from LinkedIn:
- Total headcount
- Functional distribution
- Growth over 6-12 months
Employee list
- Job function
- Field of study
- Role categories
Management
- For large companies → C-level + management
- For smaller companies → Full team
Recent Hires/Leaves/Promotions
Tracks team movement within a defined period.
Tracked profiles
You can add them manually, and here’s how:
We use LinkedIn as a primary source of information about companies and their organizational structure. If any information pulled from LinkedIn is outdated or incorrect, you can update it directly in Trajectory. For example, you can remove an employee who is no longer with the company and add the person you’d like to track instead.
Comparison report
TrajectoryAI compares two time periods and highlights:
- Website updates
- Social activity
- Company changes
- Key metric shifts
The report summarizes what changed so you don’t have to analyze it manually.
Snapshots tab
Shows a company at a specific moment in time:
- Headcount
- Revenue
- Team composition
- Social activity
This feature is useful for historical reference.
